Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

As parents, our days become increasingly busy without a minute to spare.  Most days, I am lucky to even mark a few things off my to do list.  So when I know tomorrow is booked before I even go to bed that night before,  I always go to my recipe book for a pull out a slow cooker meal.  Have fix and forget meals helps to keep us on track for healthy meals, any day of the week.  Not to mention, its amazing to come home to the house smelling like chicken noodle soup!  

Whether it be a cold day, a sick day, or any day of the week, Chicken Noodle Soup is the answer!  One of the easiest (and most delicious) ways to make this scrumptious soup is in the slow cooker! Check out this awesome recipe below!

 

 

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe:

 

 

What you need:

 

  • Boneless Chicken, 1 lb
  • Celery; 3-4 stalks, finely chopped
  • Carrots; 4 large, finely chopped
  • Onion; 1 large finely chopped
  • Garlic, 3-4 cloves, minced
  • Chicken Stock; 64 oz
  • Water, 1 cup
  • Parsley, 1 tbsp
  • Thyme, 1 Tbsp
  • Poultry seasoning, 1 tsp
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 1 bag of No Yolk Noodles (they are the best without getting soggy)

 

 

 

 

Directions:  Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

 

 

Combine all of your ingredients (minus the noodles) into the crock pot.  Next, turn on low and let cook for five to six hours.  Finally, add in your noodles. You will need to check on them after about ten minutes.  Continue cooking them until they are al dente.  Serve along side some bread sticks or garlic bread.  Enjoy!
