I am so happy to see you take such a great first step in your self-care journey by checking out our free weekly self-care checklist!
If we haven’t met, my name is Alicia Trautwein. I am an Autism & Mental Health Advocate, Creator of The Mom Kind, motivational speaker, and mom to four children (three with autism). With my days being so busy, I have found myself burned out several times over the years. While I made sure to take care of everyone else, I completely forgot to take care of myself!
For that very reason, I learned to develop a self-care routine that was simple. Self Care doesn’t have to be complicated, and let’s face it, when it’s complicated we are less likely to do it!
Self-care is so important because it encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. While some may think self-care is selfish, that’s just not the case!. When taking care of your well-being, it’s not just about you. By doing so, you are reinvigorating yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself for the people around you.! Everyone around you also benefits from your renewed energy and joy you exhibit.
Below, you will find your free weekly self-care checklist!
You may find that the task seems easy, but there will be times that you forget to do some (or all of these) when you find yourself overwhelmed with your responsibilities. Seeing these tasks written out in task form will help you stay focused on taking care of yourself as well as others.
When you are ready to print, make sure to select page 3 (three) to only print your weekly self-care list. If you have the ink to do so, I highly recommend printing 52 (fifty-two) copies. That way, you have a year’s worth of checklists ready to go and practice. If you staple them in the middle top, you can easily flip and not affect the writing area.
When you find yourself checking off at least half of the week’s boxes, reward yourself with something small. When you have a week with all boxes checked, reward yourself with something big!
No matter how many boxes you check, remember you are absolutely amazing. Even small steps are huge wins when it comes to self-care. Make sure to always love yourself too!
